Swap card for Regionals

We are lucky here in Houston - we get to host one of the Stampin' Up! Regional Conferences! I'm going to attend and can hardly wait. I've never been to one, but I have heard that one of the big things to do at the conference is swaping cards. I'm not one to turn down new ideas - so here is the card that I made for my swaps:

Materials (all SU! unless otherwise noted):

Cardstock - Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink
Patterned Paper - Rebecca
Fiber - Prep School (Moss), Unknown (Pink)
Stamp set - Polka Dots and Paisley
Other - Paper Piercing tools from the Stampers Toolkit, Stamping sponges, mini glue dots, snail adhesive
Techniques - Paper piercing, sponging, 2-step stamping

I LOVE that stamp set! It will be available March 1st in the Spring Mini Catalog- but it is free if you join Stampin' Up! during Sell-a-bration!

Speaking of the Spring Mini Catalog - OH MY! I want everything in there - and I know you will, too. There are going to be a few specials available, and I'm going to run a Spring Mini Club - so keep watching for those emails!

Simply Scrappin'

Stampin' Up! has put together some beautiful Simply Scrappin' kits. Each kit includes exclusive designs and contains 18 sheets of coordinating materials: 8 sheets of 12x12 solid-colored cardstock, 4 sheets of 12x12 patterned cardstock, 6 sheets of 6x12 self-adhesive die cuts. And, of course, everything is acid and lignin free. I had never used them before and was excited when I was able to put together a really cute 6x6 album with just a little effort.

Because all the colors coordinate, you just can't go wrong! The kits can be used for 12x12 and smaller scrapbook pages or for making cards in a snap. At only $12.95 per kit it is an amazing deal! (Plus there is a kit you can earn for FREE as a Sell-a-bration reward and one that you can earn as a hostess benefit.)

Check out the sweet album I made for my kiddos using the Friends and Flowers Simply Scrappin' Kit (hostess reward):

All good things must come to an end

Even though the Groundhog says otherwise, our weather feels like winter is going to last 6 more weeks, but not for us stampers! The Winter Mini Catalog and the Sell-a-bration Catalog are ending in less than TWO weeks.

If there is anything you just have to have from either catalog, let me know as soon as possible. The last date for orders from the Winter Mini catalog is February 28th, and the last day for Sell-a-bration rewards is February 26th.

If you would like to check out the catalogs online visit:
http://catalogs.shoplocal.com/stampinup/index.aspx?pagename=storefinder&storeid=1038724

Remember, after February you may not see any of those stamp sets again! I know I am going to order some things this weekend - I definitely want to get more of the little Pocket Notes, they are just too cute. And I really have to have the Tagger's Dozen (Winter Mini page 4) and the Sweet Nothings Accents and Elements tin (p 11). :)

I have two upcoming workshops that you can place an order through, or attend. You can also always place an order any time you want - and if it's for over $150 then I will give you the hostess benefits. Don't forget - for every $50 you spend you can choose an item from the Sell-a-bration catalog for FREE!!!

Clubs are going to start in March, so if you are interested let me know right away. If you have already told me you are interested you'll be getting another email with all the information.

I have the Spring Mini Catalogs in and you are seriously going to FLIP when you see all the awesome NEW products. There are a couple of punches that I can hardly wait to use. There are so many cool things in the catalog that I'm going to offer a Spring Mini Club - just so folks can get everything they need. :)

Marker, Ink, and Ribbon clubs will start March 1, too. The Stampers 6 and Stampers 10 clubs will start in March - watch your email for information.

As always, call or email if you have any questions!

Stamp Camp Treasures

We had a great time last week at the Valentine Stamp Camp. All the scans and pictures are up in the gallery, but I thought I'd post a couple here for you to enjoy. :)

This is a much cuter way to give your sweetie some chocolate!

I love making little boxes, baskets, and pouches. It's fun and so much nicer than a store-bought gift bag.

I just love this card! I scraplifted the layout from a card I made at a stamp camp a couple of weeks ago, but changed the colors and images. This is a versatile stamp set that can be used for several different occasions and holidays. I love that it's so much more masculine than most of the cards I make. I can't help it - I love purple!

If you would like to have a workshop in your home and learn how to make these projects, or ones like them - email me! Sell-a-bration is almost over and I only have a few dates left open this month.

Keep on craftin'!
